How To Root HTC Droid DNA

So Finally XDA developers have rooted HTC Droid DNA and below is the complete guide to root a HTC Droid DNA. Although it is quite similar to rooting other HTC devices but still it is necessary to follow each step carefully so that you should not brick your device.

Warning: Rooting HTC Droid DNA will void your warranty and can brick your phone. Proceed with your own risk.

Steps to root HTC Droid DNA

Unlock your HTC Droid DNA bootlaoder. You can visit HTC Bootloader Unlock Thead for this. Unlocking a bootloader will wipe your data.
Now download CWM (ClockWorkMod) from here and rename the file to “recovery.img”.
Then download SuperSU and busybox package and put it on your SD card.
Put your phone into Bootloader Mode and connect your HTC Droid DNA to PC via USB.
Open the folder in which you have placed the “recovery.img” file in your PC.
Write this command to flash the recovery image.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Now reboot into recovery and then flash the SuperSU and busybox package via CWM and reboot your device.
Voila, now you have root access in your HTC Droid DNA.

Temple Run Cheat | Android | Unlimited Score – New Hack

If you have an Android phone then you must have played Temple Run and it is obvious that if your friends also play Temple Run, then you definitely want to make high scores than your friends to surprise them. So this is a small cheat tutorial to make high scores in Temple Run in few seconds. I am sure that your friends will be surprised if they will see the screenshot like below.

Temple Run Cheat for Unlimited Score (Android Phones)

Requirement: Rooted Android Phone.

Download and Install GameCIH from here.
Open GameCIH. Press OK if any pop up screen appears.
Press Home button, so that GameCIH will run in background.
You will see a screen on the top of your phone like this.

Now open “Temple Run” in your phone.
Play the game for few seconds, you will see that GameCIH window has been collapsed on the top left of the screen. You can tap it for 2-3 seconds to open the full GameCIH window.

Now after playing it for a few second, pause the game.
Note down your score. Long press on the top left to open GameCIH window.
Press the “search” icon in GameCIH window.
Now press “Input Number” and enter your score in the box and press ok.
It will show many results, just press back and resume the game and play for some more seconds.
Then again pause the game. Note your new score.
Again open the GameCIH window, press the “search” icon button.
Press “Input Number” and enter your new score. Press OK.
Now the result will show only one result, if not then you can repeat the steps again.
Click on the result and enter any score you want, like “9998979879879879″. Press ok.
Then press back and resume the game. Voila, see your score.
Now make your friends jealous with your super high unbreakable score.

How To Apply Password To Your Pen Drive

Since Windows Vista, Microsoft offers locker and encrypting feature called Bit Locker. You can basically think it as a free alternative to “PC Security 7″ or “Folder Lock 7.0.6″. I hate to say alternative because it is even better than most paid security softwares.

How secure it is ?

It not only locks your pen drive it encrypts it to protect your data from hackers. Encryption is a process where your data is scrambled and made unreadable by using cipher, so if some one uses you pen drive in other PC he wont able to read your data.

Now you may think what if some one tries to access your data by changing the BIOS settings or startup files. No worries, Bit locker is smart enough to detect that. To put it simple it can detect any potential thread to your drive.

May be if you are as lazy as me, then typing password every time is a tough job for you. Windows bit locker provides a options to unlock automatically. Let me explain, you may find it troublesome to type password every time you insert your pen drive, then you can select the settings to automatically unlock on your PC. You can do the same settings for your office computer .

Now what are you waiting for; its free, provides better security, in built (you don’t need to download anything). If you don’t know how to use it then don’t worry we will tell you how to do that in step by step.

Applying password

1. Go to start menu and open control panel.

2. In control panel choose system and security and then Bit locker Drive Encryption. You will see a screen like below

3. Then Click on “Turn On Bit Locker” Option on the right side the drive you want to protect with password. I forgot to say The “off” below the drive name shows the security status. As you can see my Drives are not password protected. I am too lazy to type the password.

4. Here we will choose the pen drive. After clicking on the turn on you will see something like below.

5. After 20 sec or so it will ask you how you wish to lock your pen drive using password or smart card. Choose strong password and Click next. (BTW Smart Card is a a small plastic card containing a computer chip. You can think it as debit or credit card.)

6. Thereafter BitLocker will prompt you to store a recovery key that helps unlock your drive in case you forget your password. Just click on “Save the recovery key to a file”. You will see a window like below. Click on save.

7. Then Bit locker will ask for conformation. Click “START ENCRYPTING” option.

8. Then you will see a window telling how much much data is encrypted. The amount of time that encrypting process will take to complete the process will depend on how much data is on your drive.

9. Now you have a not only password protected but also encrypted pen drive. Whenever you plug in this pen drive to your computer or some other computer you will ask you a password. I don’t need to say the drive can be used only and only if correct password is entered.

10. An amazing thing is you notice see its icon has also a golden lock and it does not even show your deprive name before you enter password. But as soon as you unlock it by entering the password it will change its appearance.

How to remove Password protection or automatically unlock on selected computer

1. Unlock you pen drive so it will look like this

2. Now right click on the icon and choose manage bit locker. You will see some thing like below.

3. Chose the option you want and; Voila, you are DONE !!!

Create Themes In Windows 7

Your personalized theme will always better than those damn commercialized so called amazing themes. We are going to explain you how to build own desktop environment in easy steps like we did in how to personalize your login screen .

Basically a theme pack consists the following.

Now if you don’t have the above elements download them from above links and save them in one folder to make it easy to navigate later.

The Non-Tech Way

1. Right click on your desktop and click on Personalize. You will see something like below

2. Now you are going to change the highlighted thing to create personalized theme.

3. Let’s start with mouse pointers. Click on the “Change mouse pointers”. It will show the “Mouse Properties” window. Click on “Browse” and navigate to the folder where you saved the them after download.

4. Now Click on the “Change Desktop Icons”. You will see the “Desktop Icon Settings” window. Now click on the “Change Icon”. Thereafter the Browse in Change Icon window.

5. Same goes for Desktop background, Windows color, Sounds and Screen saver. Now after all the hard work Click on save to save the theme.

Want to make it portable so you can share on internet? Right click on the theme & Click on “Save Theme For Sharing”. Choose the folder you want to save the theme, Give the theme an amazing name and you are done. Share the theme with friend and this article on Facebook .

The Hi-tech way

1. Navigate to CWindowsResourcesThemes. There you will find aero, Landscapes etc themes.

2. Due to Windows System file is copyright protected copy one of the themes to other folder.

3. Now Open notepad and drag the theme into notepad . you will see something like below

4. Scroll down to the end of the text and add the following:

You may be wondering the the hell these line means .

Interval=1800000 means interval in ms (1800000=3minute) .

A Day Without A Mouse (Keyboard Shortcut Keys)

Imagine your mouse stopped working. What to do? Although you can open Virtual Mouse (Virtual mouse is a way to control cursor and clicks by keyboard) by [Alt]+[Shift]+[Numlock] on Windows Operating System, but its best to learn some shortcut keys.

There are also some tasks in our PC that we need to do frequently but using mouse is boring and time consuming. Like if you are not an MS Word expert and want to change case of letters, you wont even know how to do it but [Shift] +F3 makes it damn easy.

Enter Text Message In Your Logon Screen

Want to show off your friends by amazing start up messages on your Logon or start up screen. Here we will guide you step by step.

Using third party software will make it easy. But sometimes it really messes up with windows registry. So when you try to change something that has involvement with system32 or registry always prefer manual instead of software. Again using third party software you will miss the fun and knowledge you will gain through this process.

Setting up a welcome screen message in mobile is too easy. But doing something with your stupid computer needs a bit of work with Registry. But with this guide it will be just peace of cake.

1. Open RUN

2. Type regedit and click OK. You will see something like below

3.Navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Policies > System (VISTA AND WIN 7)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows NT > CurrentVersion > Winlogon (WINDOWS XP)

For novice, when I say navigate, I mean double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Then scroll down, look for SOFTWARE & double click on it and so on.

After double clicking on system you will a screen like below

* In the Right Pane you will see legalnoticecaption and legalnoticetext. Basically you can understand them like the value in legalnoticecaption is the message title and legalnoticetext is the message body. See first picture for better understanding.

4. Open legalnoticecaption by double clicking on it and enter the value you want to see, like I typed WorthyTricks.org.

5. Open legalnoticetext and enter your value, like I entered

Tips To Increase WordPress Page Loading Speed

As being a blogger, I have seen that many new bloggers or even professional bloggers complaints that their blog (based on WordPress) is loading quite slow. There could be many factors that may affect the loading speed of your site. So first of all I will discuss some major factors that will increase your site loading speed.

Good Hosting

The foremost factor that may affect the loading speed of a blog, is the type of hosting you are using. Generally there are three types of hosting, i.e. Shared Hosting, VPS and Dedicated Server.

Now the point comes, how will you choose which hosting is best for you….??? So here I will give you a vivid description on the types of hostings, so that it will help you to choose right hosting.

Lets take an example of students and a class teacher. Where students including you are deemed as “Websites / Blogs” and the teacher is referred as “Server / Hosting”. So there can be three possibilities discussed as follows:

1. SHARED HOSTING- Lets say, there are 100′s of students in one class and all the students are served by a single teacher. The real world example is of “Government Schools”, where 100′s of students are taught by a single teacher. Likewise, in case of Shared Hosting, 100′s of websites are held by a single server, and all the websites share the same server resources.

2. VPS HOSTING- Now lets say, you are in a reputed private school where only few seats are available in one class, say 20. So in this situation, only 20 students will be available in the class and will be taught by the teacher. In this condition, teacher will give more attention to each and every student, as there are limited number of students. Likewise, in case of VPS Hosting, each server holds only limited number of websites that have their own specified resources to use. VPS are quite expensive than shared hosting.

3. DEDICATED HOSTING- Now lets assume the case where you have hired the teacher for personal private tuition. Here the teacher will only be available for you and no other student is allowed to share the class with you. Similar is the case with Dedicated Hosting, the whole server is dedicated to your websites and no other person can use that server. Dedicated Hosting is the most expensive hosting in comparison with Shared and VPS hosting.

So, if your site is really small then you can opt for Shared Hosting, as they are cheaper than other hostings or if your site is very big and has Lacs of visitors daily, they you should surely opt for Dedicated server, and if you think that Dedicated hosting will be more than enough and shared hosting will be less than enough, then you can always opt for the middle option, i.e. VPS Hosting.

Content Delivery Network

Next step to speed up your website, is to use CDN (Content Delivery Network). Generally, when your site is hosted in a server placed at US and a visitor visits your site from Japan, then it may take few seconds / milliseconds to ping your server placed at US. So to overcome this problem we use CDN. CDN also reduces the load on your server resources to a great extent. Some reliable CDN services available are MaxCDN, VPS.net, etc.

The above two factors are generally hardware based and affect the site loading speed to a great extent. Now lets discuss the tips that may decrease your site loading time.

Cache Plugin

Cache is a static page of your website that is send to the visitor instead of processing the actual page of your site, that will require too much of server resources. So caching of site pages is a must to decrease the site loading time. There are many plugins that are available for WordPress users, and the best one are: WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, Hyper Cache, Quick Cache, etc.

Minimum use of JavaScripts

Site loading speed may greatly be affected if your site has loads of heavy java scripts. There are two solutions for this,

1. You can simply remove the usage of Javascripts, or

2. If it is necessary for you to use javascript for any important function, then opt for minified version of that javascript, the minified version of the javascripts are much smaller in size and thus loads faster.

Place Scripts at Bottom

According to best practices, it is recommended that you should place all your scripts in the footer instead of header. The main reason for this is that when a script loads, it does not allow any parallel downloading, i.e. if you place any script in header, then it will not allow to load any other content, images, etc, till the scripts has completely loaded.

Optimize Images

Another important factor that affects the site loading speed is the use of many images. Although sometimes, the use of images become extremely necessary and thus cannot be avoided, so in this case we can use optimized images fro better loading speed. But it may be tedious for everyone of us to optimize each and every image manually. So this problem can easily be solved by using the wordpress plugin “WP Smush.it“. This plugin automatically optimizes all the images of your media library.

Use of Light Weighted Themes for WordPress

A use of light weighted theme is a very nice idea from the view point of SEO and site loading speed. Currently there are many wordpress themes that are floating around the internet, some are free and some are paid. According to me, the best wordpress themes are Thesis and Genesis. Genesis and Thesis both are WordPress theme framework and should be used with their child theme. These frameworks are very light and can be customized according to the blog owners.

So, if you ever wanted to know about the number of visits to a particular website, you can find this easily only if you are a Firefox user. Here I will tell you how.

2. Open the site for which you want to know your number of visits, we have taken the example of Google.com.

3. Now right click anywhere in the Firefox screen, and then click on “View Page Info”.

4. A screen like below will pop up after you click on “View Page Info”. Then click on “Security” tab.

5. Clicking on “Security” tab will open a screen like below. There under “Privacy and History” you will see your total number of visits to the site.
